The new Centinari Franciacorta brand debuts and as its symbol it chooses the elegant red heron that lives protected in the natural areas of Franciacorta. An elegant and strong image that refers to the idea of refinement and represents the intent to create something unique.
The raw material The grapes grow on the shores of Lake Iseo which is part of the UNESCO biosphere reserve of “Valle Camonica – Alto Sebino”, in an ideal climate for the growth of vineyards, and on a soil whose morainic origin offers an extraordinary richness of added minerals, fundamental to form the basis of quality viticulture.
The harvest and winemaking The harvest is rigorously carried out by hand, the bunches are placed in small crates to be taken whole for soft pressing. In this way the organoleptic qualities of the product remain unchanged and express themselves at their best. The time factor is also fundamental, because the natural refermentation takes place in the bottle. The subsequent, slow maturation and refinement on the yeasts never last less than 18 months.
Centinari products are proud of their roots and of a method composed of scrupulous rules dictated by strict specifications and carried out with great care.
The bottle is designed by Spazio di Paolo, a multi-awarded studio internationally for its packaging of wine products.
Now, Centinari Franciacorta can boast the official DOCG label.
